Proposal

To allow for the development of planning applications 22/0005/AMCPPP and 24/0011/AMCPPP, it is necessary to permanently stop up and divert a section of the right of way footpath at Northcraigs, Kilmarnock. A permanent diversion route will be put in place.

The Proposed Order and Schedule, and associated Plan showing the section of path to be stopped up and the diversion, can be viewed on the right of this page.

Please note that as development on the site has not yet commenced at the point of publication, the diversion route shown on the Plan is as accurate as possible - the final diversion route will follow the new public road layout as exists on the site at the conclusion of development.

Links to the associated planning applications can also be found to the right of this page under 'Important links'. This SUO pertains to the site layout approved under application 24/0011/AMCPPP.

As per legislation, the Order will be formally advertised in the Kilmarnock Standard on Wednesday 4 September 2024.

A period of 28 days for objections to the Order will end on Wednesday 2 October 2024.
