We held events to celebrate the success of the first five years of our Place Based Investment Programme, showcasing the hard work and achievements of communities throughout East Ayrshire.
Our Place Based Investment Programme (PBIP) funded by the Scottish Government, ran from 2021-26. Every year, the Council invited applications from groups providing community projects that deliver on the priorities of Community Action Plans, Local Place Plans, community engagement activity, or projects that otherwise help achieve community aspirations.
We are not currently expecting a further year of funding as the programme was to run for five years, but if any further funding becomes available from the Scottish Government through this programme a call for projects will be issued.
We’ve all achieved so much in our communities, and we were proud to highlight everything we’ve done together.

Thank you for attending our Place Based Investment Programme Celebration Events at Kilmarnock and Cumnock. We hope you enjoyed hearing about the fantastic PBIP projects delivered across East Ayrshire and the importance and progress of the Local Place Plans.
We would really appreciate your feedback. It will help us understand what worked well and what we could improve for future events. This should only take a couple of minutes to complete.
