Why are we consulting?

East, North and South Ayrshire Council are working in partnership to deliver the EV infrastructure needed to support future uptake of Electric Vehicles (EVs) across Ayrshire.

Supported by Scottish Future’s Trust and Transport Scotland, the local authorities aim to provide a just transition to EV uptake. The project has been awarded £2.8million through Transport Scotland’s Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Fund for the installation of approximately 307 EV charge points across 270 locations via a Concession Contract.
