Celebrating 5 Years of Supporting Local

From 29 August to 11 September, East Ayrshire Council, in partnership with the Kilmarnock and Cumnock Business Associations, is launching a free competition to thank customers for shopping local—and we want your business to be part of it!

How the Gift Card Giveaway works.

Each participating business will receive a bundle of Giveaway Cards to hand out to customers when they make a purchase. These cards contain a QR code that customers can scan to instantly find out if they’ve won one of the following prizes:

• 1 x £300 East Ayrshire Gift Card
• 20 x £20 East Ayrshire Gift Cards
• Free postage on selected East Ayrshire Gift Card purchases

All prizes can be spent with over 230 local businesses across East Ayrshire.

How you can take part as a business

Ration your cards
You’ll receive enough cards to give out approx 5 per day (depending on how many days you operate). Spread them across the two-week period to keep customers coming back.

Promote your business and the gift card
 Share your involvement on social media. Businesses that actively promote the East Ayrshire Gift Card tend to see the most success.

Display your poster
 Make sure your promotional poster is visible to customers—it helps build excitement and awareness.
