The East Ayrshire Gift Card is a local, closed-loop mastercard that can be spent in over 200 participating businesses, helping keep money circulating in our local economy. Customers can choose either a traditional physical card or a digital card that can be added to Apple or Google wallets. Because the programme operates under banking a financial compliance rules the physical card must be swiped - adding a chip would significantly increase the costs making the programme far more expensive to run.
