    This is a dedicated networking platform designed to strengthen collaboration, learning and communication among Community Councils across East Ayrshire to support the vital work  of these Third Tier Local Government organisations, the platform offers secure, accessible space where members can connect, share ideas and access key resources to support good governance and community engagement.

    The platform promotes peer support by allowing Community Councils to showcase local projects, ask questions, exchange best practices. whether you are newly established or long standing, Connecting Community Councils makes it easy to learn from others and contribute your own experience.

    Key features include discussion forums, event listings and resource library with governance templates and toolkits, and a directory of key contacts. It also offers dedicated thematic spaces , for example climate action, youth engagement, or funding so members can collaborate around shared priorities.
