This section sets out an overview of Connectivity projects, what ifs and next steps for each project.

Accessible Foregate

In order to address severance, make moving around easier, and establish a sense of arrival within Kilmarnock Town Centre, we're considering these projects and initiatives:

• Delivery of Foregate Civic Square
• Kilmarnock Infinity Loop design work
• An assessment of potential transition from the existing one-way system to a partial two-way arrangement.
• Reviewing the potential to introduce improvements to key intersections which act as focal crossing points.
• Identification of opportunities for enhanced gateways and edges
• A revised parking strategy

The Masterplan will focus on improving how we move through the
town and seek to balance pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular movement.
