Background
Our Risk Management Strategy 2024-27 sets out the Council’s strategic direction for the management of all types of risk for the 3-year period up to 31 March 2027. It was approved by our Governance and Scrutiny Committee on 18 April 2024.
On 17 October 2024, our Council Management Team took part in a development session about the Council's risk management practices to further develop the concept of risk appetite.
As a result of the session we identified that further self-assessment work is required. The results from this assessment will be used to support and inform the Council's mid-year review of the Risk Management Strategy. This will be presented to our Governance and Scrutiny Committee in April 2025.
Our Self Assessment Survey
For this reason we're now asking you to help by completing our Self Assessment survey.

At the end of each section there are comments boxes. These ask you to support your answer with examples of good practice and improvement actions.
Please answer this survey honestly. Results will remain entirely confidential.
