Key Dates

We are required by statute to formally invite our communities to prepare Local Place Plans.  As well as launching this site, we have sent correspondence out to community councils and other bodies across East Ayrshire.

Community bodies can prepare Local Place Plans for their area and submit to the Council for registration at any time.  

However, in order that we can take all Local Place Plans into account when preparing Local Development Plan 3, we are asking if all Plans can be submitted to us by 31 March 2026.  If you think you are going to need longer, please let us know as soon as you can and we will be flexible if we can be.
