Allyship within the LGBTQIA+ Employee Network

It was recently raised within Equality groups that network attendance could be improved through the promotion of the networks to allies, and inviting them to join networks as well. Currently, all employee networks are marketed towards their target demographic. The following survey asks about preference of current members for the active promotion of the networks to allies of the community as well.

The LGBTQIA+ Employee Network discussed this topic at our September meeting, and this survey has been created to seek feedback from members.

A vote will be held through this survey, your vote will impact the outcome of this initiative.

What is an Ally?

An ally is someone who is not part of the LGBTQIA+ community but wishes to show active support for it. They may have an LGBT spouse, child, colleague or friend but could also just be someone who is a proactive supporter of LGBT rights.
