Invitation to prepare Local Place Plans

East Ayrshire Council is inviting its communities to prepare Local Place Plans
The Purpose of a Local Place Plan is to express the local community’s aspirations and priorities around the development and use of land.
To lead on producing a Local Place Plan, you must be a community body (or Community Council) and there are criteria which must be met before the plan can be registered. Registered Local Place Plans will be taken into account when Local Development Plan 3 is being produced, giving community views more weight in the planning process.
If you are a community body and you may wish to produce a Local Place Plan, you can submit an expression of interest and find out more about the process (including available support) through the Council's Local Place Plan page on Engagement East Ayrshire.

Thank you for your contribution!
