Kilmarnock South-West Community Organisations

COGS aims at promoting community capacity through building and growing our community garden in Shortlees, Kilmarnock. We offer a positive environment for individuals and groups of people to come, engage and reconnect with nature through growing and cooking their own food. The aim is to improve mental/physical/environmental aspects through dialogue and building professional and social networks. In addition, reduce the economic and social financial burden through various activities tailored to the needs of individuals and groups.

Shortlees Community Association are the voluntary group that run Shortlees Community Centre.

Kilmarnock amateur weightlifting club runs various classes for all ages staring at the young age of 6 years up to masters level (35+) Including strength and conditioning classes for various sports organisations and personal trainers.

Welcome to The Well. We are a Church of Scotland outreach centre situated in the heart of Bellfield. 

Facilitates community engagement and empowers local voices as well as offering support and advice.

Offers spiritual support and community outreach

Contributes to health and wellbeing initiatives for those in recovery

Represents the interests of the local community and advocates for its needs. The organisation can also provide vital support to the wider community through their programmes.

Community Connector for Atrium Homes 

The Howard Centre is the outreach centre and is open to all in the community.

We seek to add positive value to the local community through the many different groups who use our premises.
