Galston Local Place Plan

Galston Community Development Trust, supported by Galston Community Action Plan Steering Group, has taken into consideration the contents of the East Ayrshire Local Development Plan 2 (LDP2) and National Planning Framework 4 (NPF4) (and local Community Action Plan) to draft a Local Place Plan for Galston.

Please find attached draft Local Place Plan (and Community Action Plan that included the priorities) for your consideration as a local or neighbouring stakeholder, as defined in the Local Place Plan guidance. 

The Local Place Plan engagement process was aligned with the Community Action Plan process. Surveys from at least 40% of local households were returned and spatial information was plotted onto a draft Local Place Plan map. This was checked at a local voting engagement event and replicated online. The community body then redrafted the Local Place Plan with the information supplied. The finalised version of the plan is made available online for comment for a further 4 weeks with final amendments made before submission to the Planning Authority.

This will close on Monday 28th July.
