Thinking Differently - BVSR

Thinking Differently

The Thinking Differently Team are undergoing a Best Value Service Review. We are looking for your views, if you have accessed support from this service, to determine how the service looks in the future.

The purpose of the Thinking Differently Team is to promote good practice, enable prevention and self-management, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements across key areas of the HSCP.  The scope of the team includes:

  • Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Smart Supports/TEC Innovation Project/Analogue to Digital (A2D)
  • Self-Directed Support (SDS) Implementation
  • Carers Act Implementation
  • HSCP staff wellbeing support

The Thinking Differently service contributes towards the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) strategic priorities to improve our approach to self-directed support, implement our Carers strategy and building on our digital capacity.

Best Value Service Review

The Strategic Commissioning Board sets out a programme of Best Value Service Reviews across the HSCP with each service area anticipating a review as part of the programme. A Best Value Service Review is an assessment of the need for the services it provides and the way that these services are organised and delivered.  Every Best Value Review should result in proposals to improve services and make them more efficient.

More information on  Best Value Service Review in the HSCP can be found on the Partnership website.
